Not impressed. Very standard Americanized Chinese buffet restaurant with a limited selection. Nothin special but nothing too off putting either. The most redeeming aspect is that the wait staff was efficient.

I was worried when I read some reviews, but as I drove by, I saw that the parking lot was full...and that is always a good sign at a Chinese buffet. Overall, not bad at all. There's not a ton of choices, just your usual options and I didn't see anyone operating the hibachi, so I went with what I knew and I thought everything was pretty tasty. I'll be back if I'm nearby in the future.

Just left this restaurant. It was our first time here, and it will be our last. Not a lot of choices and much of what was available was dried out. At least our waitress was very nice.

I have been a regular here since I was 14 and bagging groceries at the store across the street and can honestly say it is aways a roll of the dice when you eat here. *Edit* I finally came to my senses and have decided that I am NEVER coming back to this place. Everything on the buffet is stagnant & dried out. The burbon chicken which was my favorite is like eating petrified chicken from last week. Also, I have the sneaking suspension they are secretly using MSG because I always leave flush and it lasts a good hour or two. That's only having one decent portion of the buffet, its not like I'm overeating. STAY AWAY!

The Mongolian grill was expertly manned. Between the two of us, we must have had every available option. Everything we tried on the buffet was cooked properly and had great flavor. The hot tea was lovely. Even the bread and desserts were good. We will definitely be returning.

First time here probably would not go back especially for the buffet. Since we did not order from the menu, I can not speak to that. However, the only saving grace for the buffet was the Mongolian Grill option where you could pick your own ingredients and have the chef cook it in front of you. We got there around 6:30 and the buffet had started at 5pm so that may explain why it was not hot or fresh tasting. It was very inexpensive at $8.95 a person for the dinner buffet, but unfortunately it was not even worth that. If you are looking for quantity and not quality then try it out but I would certainly not recommend it.

Stopped in for lunch , not sure why. Compared to other Chinese buffets , this place is clean. Nothing on the buffet that I tried was hot. I tried to stay with non breaded items . Green bean with chicken , ok . Chicken on a stick , ok . Pepper steak , ok . It has been over an hour and I am not sick, so I guess it was a decent buffet meal .

I like NYC Chinese food and have found this place to be the best in the area. This place also has Mongolian BBQ cooked to order, sushi and dessert in a spacious setting, with all-you-can-eat buffets. Full Bar Happy Hour ends at 7 pm. Plenty of free parking. Plus the place is sparkling clean. No reservations needed. Great staff. Great Price. Great place to relax with your friends in A/C.

Checked out this place from yelp reviews and was not disappointed. Buffett is a little small but good. Not fancy but casual. My favorite thing is the mongolian stir fry bar. you pick your veggies and meats and the chef cooks it right in front of you. Love it!

Great if you need a colon cleanse. I almost didn't make it home. Terrible cramps. Saw a dead fly in the peel and eat shrimp. I had read reviews before and they were overwhelmingly positive but this was not the case today. Was there for a friend's bday and even she couldn't stay away from the bathroom. I LOVE chinese buffets and have NEVER had an adverse reaction to one. From what I have learned, they were the subject of an episode of DIRTY DINING on the local ABC station--maybe they need to make a return visit. On a positive note, the staff was very pleasant and attentive--5 stars for that part.

Stopped here because everything else in the area we went to was closed. They were surprisingly good, and the food quality was fresh. There's a similar kind of Chinese Buffet in Gainesville I go to with is very good, but I actually like this one better. I would go back when in the area.

Checked out this place since its a block from my apartment , big disappointment don't get me wrong I've been to worst places and this ain't one of them but its far from the best, waiters ask if you left tip when you get up and the selection is as far as a 7/11's cooler lol seriously they should put beef in the beef and broccoli and steak in the peppered steak ...

Not bad for the price and location. I did like how they had a few different kinds of chicken wings! All you can eat chicken wings for that price would be worth it to me! Select food items were good, especially when it comes out fresh from the kitchen but I thought a lot of the items were inconsistent as a few trips here the food seemed unbalanced - too salty, too sour, or too sweet on one night and be right the next.

The sweet and sour of this place (see what I did there?) is that the food is surprisingly good and fresh but the clientele sometimes causes me to question humanity. But, it's a buffet so what can you expect? I've been going here for years as it's close to my work and its quick, filling, and cheap. No, it's not the best, but it is the most convenient for me. I've also noticed over the past few weeks that some of the buffet items are now getting cycled around; it used to be the exact same things every day. I just recently noticed on Monday that they now have shrimp and mussels in the buffet....they looked ok, but I have a strict rule on seafood at buffet's so wouldn't be able to tell you if it's any good or not. The waitstaff is consistent and has been the same for years. It's nice to see the same faces, but in the end, they're just keeping my drinks filled (which they do quite well and better than most well-established restaurants). So yea, this review is a culmination of years of attendance through the ups and downs, but now they are on an up-swing and my co-workers and I go about once a week. Notable item: the buffalo wings (I know, I know) but these are outstanding for some reason.

I stopped in this establishment for a quick lunch and haven't been back since. Food was OK and prices were reasonable, but the variety was definitely lacking. There was the usual buffet standard, "Chicken Cooked 12 Ways", but I am a bit surprised that in a town that seems to get flooded out every other day during hurricane season, that the ONLY seafood available was some bait-sized shrimp, the method of preparation I can't even seem to recall. It's not that this place was bad (all my food was perfectly edible) but it just seemed a bit too forgettable, like the local lunch eatery where you know you ate lunch, but can't seem to remember what you had an hour after you ate it. I found some better alternatives in the area - I wouldn't say I would NEVER go back, but I don't have a compelling reason to return either. In fairness, I would give this closer to 2.5 stars, but nothing more...

Had a hankering for some Mongolian BBQ on my birthday and went to see what this place had to offer, we walked in around 8 pm and found it to be a bit slow with business but we were seated quickly and the hostess was very nice. Promptly took our drink order and we commenced to review the buffet food first, everything was fresh and had 4 different types of chicken, 4 variations of shrimp hot and cold. Vegetable dishes and also two different beef offerings. The main attraction was the Mongolian BBQ which was fired up and hot. It took about ten minutes to receive my piping hot bowl of food so I went and loaded up on cold shrimp and Veggie spring rolls. Returning to the chef with a tip of course and found the food to be excellent, I am rather jaded by most Mongolian BBQ joints but this place seems to have it down good. A few great points to add: Waitresses were very polite, unheard of in the Metro D.C. area and they are very nice here. The place is spotless and very clean compared to most Chinese restaurants, very clean. Waitress was very attentive and our drinks were always kept filled and she checked on us with perfect timing, it did become busy and even with plenty of tables she was spot on in her attention. Food was fresh and tasty, even the buffet food was well tended with a runner stationed at the buffet bar. They keep it clean and wiped down with not on spoon or tong out of place. Price was really inexpensive, 8.99 per person is nearly unheard of with a buffet and Mongolian BBQ. Excellent value for the budget! Only thing stopping me from five stars is there are so many other places to try, will do a follow up. Chef Mark

This place is horribly bad for a buffet...old food left out too long, same sauce on everything. Not a large selection. Cups for soda smelled really chlorine like. But I. Going to give them one thing, they do a HELL of a wedding. These guys are the king pins of wedding catering.

Not bad for a buffet. Probably the best buffet in this area. They even do Mongolian BBQ at certain times (call to see when). They also cater. I have a friend who had his wedding catered by this restaurant and he said they did a good job.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
